Over and over we hear about members attending a funeral for another St. John member or Lutheran and discover that the church was not the ascribed charity or recipient of the memorial donations. Somehow, the church gets forgotten at this sensitive time, while other non-profit charitable organizations are named and the St. John Foundation is overlooked. We need to be proactive on this issue. Your family and friends need to know ahead of time that the St. John Foundation is your choice for memorials. Also, if you prefer, you can designate which of the 14 funds should receive the memorial gift. Keep in mind, gifts to the Foundation are "forever" and work at spreading the Gospel far into the future. Please request memorial envelopes to be at the services for you and your loved ones. Memorial envelopes are available at the church office or call a Foundation member.
