Art to Remember:   Art to Remember (ATR) is a PTL fundraiser that transfers children’s original artwork into high quality keepsakes that families will cherish forever.  Kids are proud to see their works of art showcased on our products, especially when given as gifts to family and friends. ATR is a safe fundraiser, in that it keeps students safe by eliminating door-to-door sales.  Last year, Art to Remember raised $1400 in profit for St. John, simply through our in-house sales.  Art to Remember is always done prior to Christmas…just in time for those special, personalized gifts your family will love!  To learn more about Art to Remember, visit their website at www.arttoremember.com.

Auction:  Every other year, St. John PTL hosts an auction, with the proceeds benefitting St. John Lutheran School.  Goods and services are donated by local merchants, as well as members of the congregation, and are offered in both silent and live auction format.  Our past auctions have been enormously successful, raising tens of thousands of dollars for the school each time.  Our next auction will be held in the fall of 2012.

Box Tops for Education:  This PTL-sponsored fundraiser is something in which the entire extended family can take part!  Students and their families clip Box Tops from specific products throughout the year, which are worth $.10 each for the school.  The PTL sponsors classroom contests, awarding ice cream or pizza to the classroom with the highest percentage of participation.  Since 2002, St. John has raised over $16,000 in free money!  Get the entire extended family involved ~ visit www.boxtops4education.com for tips on how to help.

Cookie Dough and Pierogi Sales:  Help fund an 8th grader's memorable class trip to Washington, DC by purchasing cookie dough and delicious pierogis!  This fundraiser takes place twice a year (once before Christmas and once in late winter).  Your purchases help to defray student travel expenses.  Visit www.savoryfoods.com for cookie information.

Eagle Fund:  Developed in 1992, the Eagle Fund is bi-annual fund drive sponsored by the school.  The proceeds from this drive directly benefit the children of the school. The funds raised are used to purchase items not covered in the regular school budget.  The Eagle Fund to establish a partnership with families, friends, and alumni of St. John to directly benefit the school.  The Eagle Fund council comprised of parents and others who value Christian education. Their efforts, combined with your active support, provide St. John with the very best materials and technology to educate tomorrow’s Christ-centered leaders.

Entertainment Book Sales:  School fundraisers are most successful when we sell products that families can really use. Entertainment Books offer sought-after products for school fundraisers as well as service, support and great ideas to make our school fundraisers a big success! This back-to-school fundraiser ensures plenty of time to enjoy the savings throughout the year.

Good Search: Search the web with Yahoo-powered GoodSearch.com and they’ll donate a penny to St. John each time you search!  Shop at more than 600 GoodShop.com merchants including Best Buy, Toys R Us, and others, and a percentage of each purchase will go to St. John.  This pain free fundraiser has brought in about $425 to our school so far. Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits:  Who can resist a delicious Little Caesar’s Pizza?  Now…you won’t have to!  Purchasing Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits during this PTL-sponsored fundraiser not only gives you a quick “go to” meal in the freezer…it helps support our school as well!  Since joining the Little Caesar fundraising family in 2002, St. John has earned about $6000 in profits!  Visit www.pizzakit.com for more information.

Market Day:  Market Day is a food-distribution cooperative and is the PTL’s primary fundraiser.  Market Day’s mission is raising funds for education, and since its inception 30 years ago has helped raise over $400 million for America’s organizations.  Since becoming a Market Day school, St. John has earned almost $70,000 in addition to perks such as freezers, new books for the library, and more!  Our selection of over 180 easy-to-prepare, quality food items is sure to please. Parisian Community Day Sale:  Several times during the school year, it pays to shop at Parisian!  The PTL sells $5 Parisian Coupon Booklets which include coupons to use on merchandise throughout the store.  100% of the $5 coupon booklet price goes directly back to St. John!  (Pair this up w/ Parisian scrip, and you’re doubling your fundraising efforts!)  Buy one for you, your mom, your dad…the possibilities are endless!

QSP Magazine Sales:  Early in the school year, St. John holds a QSP magazine drive.  QSP has been serving the youth of our country since 1964 by partnering with schools and groups and providing easy and effective fundraising programs. To date, QSP has helped raise over $3 billion for programs that enrich the lives of children and their communities. QSP is also backed by the strength of the Reader’s Digest brand…one of the most recognized, admired and trusted brands in the world.  QSP.com provides a state-of-the-art online store which offers a convenient way for your participants to email out of town friends and family members and allows supporters to shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round in support of your fundraiser. All items ordered online are shipped directly to the customer’s home.  So…don’t renew that subscription just yet!  We’ll see you in the fall…when St. John earns $ .40 from each new or renewed subscription!

Scrip Program:  Scrip means “substitute money.”  The PTL Scrip Program allows people to order gift cards from St. John for the face amount for a number of retail stores, restaurants, grocery stores, and other participating retailers.  Then, St. John purchases the gift certificates on your behalf at a discount. 75% of the discount earned is returned to your family as tuition credit.  (The remaining 25% of the discount goes toward the school’s Tuition Assistance fund.)    Click here for more information.
