Men’s Breakfast – Fall 2023

Gentlemen, come to be encouraged in your faith walk with Jesus, enjoy a tasty breakfast, and connect with other guys who are humbly seeking to grow as men, husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers in Christ! The St. John Men’s Breakfast Event will be Saturday, September 23 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in lower-level Concordia Hall.
Join us as we welcome our guest speaker Pastor Gabe Kasper, lead pastor at University Lutheran Chapel at the University of Michigan. His topic will be “Resilient Faith in a Secular Age”. For decades, the church sat in a privileged position in the West in general and the United States in particular. But the last couple of decades has seen a sharp decline in church attendance, church membership, and religious observance overall. As those who seek to follow Jesus during this cultural moment, we are invited to have a resilient faith that not only doesn’t fade during this time but is strengthened and refined even as the world around us changes.
