Hoopsters 2026

January 28 - February 13

PURPOSE
Hoopsters was established to provide an opportunity for our younger students to learn the basic skills of basketball through fellowship and fun in a Christian environment and to promote physical activity. This program is open to current St. John Lutheran School students in grades 1-4.

DIVISIONS
Intramural Play – Boys and Girls combined

Beginners (Grades 1-2)
Junior Division (Grades 3-4)

PRACTICE
Most practices will be 30-60 minutes, depending on the division.
Practices will begin the first week of March, and will be on Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, and Friday at either 3:45 PM or 5:00 PM.

GAMES
Games begin the 2nd week of March and end on March 27.
Games will be on Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, and Friday at either 3:45 PM or 5:00 PM.

MOMS/DADS
Volunteers are needed to coach! Each team will need at least one parent volunteer.
A coaches meeting will take place the week prior to the start of practice. You will receive your team roster and game schedule at this meeting.

TEAMS
Players will be divided into teams based on registration numbers. Teammate requests can not be honored.
