5th Grade Camp 2026

Its's time for 5th Grade Camp!

When: Wednesday, May 6 to Friday, May 8
Where: Michigan Christian Youth Camp, Attica, MI

Get ready to trade the desks for the great outdoors because 5th Grade Camp is officially here! This week is the ultimate rite of passage, packed with group activities that turn classmates into a rock-solid team. From conquering the trails to the shared laughter of cabin life, the bonding happens fast and lasts way beyond the ride home. It’s also an incredible chance to see the Gospel in action; sharing the love of Jesus becomes as natural as the scenery around us. Whether we’re cheering each other on during the day or kicking back for songs and stories around the campfire at night, this is the time where memories are made and faith hits the trail.

5th graders will leave St. John after chapel on Wednesday, May 6 and return to school after lunch on Friday, May 8. There will not be any class on Friday upon arriving at St. John, please make arrangements to pick up your student. Timing updates will be provided to non-chaperone/driving parents.

We need moms and dads to drive and chaperone! Camp isn't possible without you! We need adults to transport students to and from camp AND we need adults to stay and chaperone. You can sign up to be a driver, a chaperone, or both! Adults are able to come for the full time at camp, or just a day or two. Prices vary depending on how long you stay, details are below.

Camp is all about group activities! Students and chaperones will be broken into groups. Students may not make friend requsts for their group - a lot of thought and many factors go into forming groups.
