Memorial Day 2026

St. John Lutheran Church & School, in collaboration with The Veteran's Tribute of Oakland Township (VTOT), will be honoring our Fallen Veterans this Memorial Day. If you would like to recognize a departed American hero please submit the form below and they will be included in a special article in the Memorial Day Connection.

The VTOT is also conducting a solemn Memorial Day ceremony. The event is free and open to the public, from 11:00 AM-Noon on Monday, May 25th at the outdoor Tribute located at 5236 Adams Rd, just south of the intersection with Silver Bell Rd.  Veterans’ names will be read aloud, followed by the ringing of a ceremonial bell and a moment of silence.
