We are happy to help you plan your Christ-centered wedding ceremony at St. John. Our faith statement, consistent with Scripture, is that marriage is a covenant relationship designed and ordained by God from the very beginning of creation as a union between one man and one woman (male and female) (Genesis 2:24-25; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:22-33). God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family.
With that in mind, because we sincerely care not just about preparing you for your wedding day, but even more importantly your life-long marriage commitment to each other, we do require several preparation steps for each couple. It is our prayer that God will bless your wedding preparation and that you will see the new and wonderful beginning that Jesus Christ gives you as husband and wife!
